Mewtwo is always thinking about Team Rocket, but somewhere deep in his brain there is Ai. And now there's Joy.
Mewtwo's first encounter with an human being was Ai (Amber). The became close friends. After that he only experienced hatred from / toward humans (Dr. Fuji, Giovanni).
It's strange that he has chosen another human - Nurse Joy - as an companion, isn't it? On the hand she was his servant (he used her to communicate with Pokémon-trainers), on the other hand she could provide him informations about the world. This makes her similar to Ai. That's why I think she was his companion, until something happend which made Mewtwo hypnotize her.
I used copics for Mewtwo, crayons for Ai and Joy and water color for the background. I draw Ai on transparent note paper.

It looks it could be in the movie. Although I don't like Mewtwo, I like the pair MewtwoXAmber very much and wish Amber could be successfully cloned so Mewtwo wouldn't be lonely and chaotically bitter.
